The Pioneers got back into the win column in a big way Friday night with a 16-5 victory over Lincoln College Prep (MO) in the DeSoto tournament.
Steele Sadler started for the Pioneers on the mound. He gave up 2 runs on 2 its in his one inning of work. Robert McKinley and Devon Bruning closed out the game for the Pioneers allowing 3 runs over the final 5 innings.
Offensively, the Pioneers exploded for a 10-run 1st inning. The Pioneers capitolized on the Lincoln CP miscues with timely hitting and aggressive baserunning. The Pioneers stole 20 bases on the day.

The Pioneers closed the game out with everyone on the roster getting an opportunity to play, with some of the non-starters getting a lot of varsity innings under their belts.
Pioneers are back in action Tuesday as they host the Turner Golden Bears at Sportsfield at 5pm.
